The Accountant has complete responsibility for the operations of the Accounts Department to handle, prepare, compute, manage, research and analyze all accounting data, in order to provide quantitative information on performance, financial position, solvency, liquidity and cash flows of our business. Main Responsibilities: • Manage all accounting operations based on accounting principles • Prepare yearly budget and financial forecasts • Publish monthly and yearly financial statements and other management reports • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns • Evaluate internal management systems, processes, risks and provide recommendations • Keep up with financial policies, regulation and legislation • Assist with audit of financial software • Costing and Inventory supervision Requirements • A degree in Accounting or Level II ACCA Professional Qualification • At least 5 years working experience in an Accounting and Supervisory position • Knowledge and competency in accounting principles • Proficiency in Quickbooks and POS systems • Sound interpersonal skills Email application to : accountant@starrinandsons.com Deadline for application is January 31 2022
